Moral crusader Henry Harding (Tom Bell) despatches his Christian aide, Peter (Christien Anholt) to collect evidence for a private prosecution against London’s House of Thwax, a fetish performance troupe led by Tanya Cheex (Guinevere Turner). Peter gradually falls in love with his target….a love that hurts.

The tributes are many, and now, 17 years after it was filmed, fans have made the ultimate tribute, crowd-funding this superb restored and remastered version.

 
Preaching To The Perverted was developed with the European Script Fund and the BBC. The budget was €4 million and it was sold to 23 countries across the world for theatrical release. The film has attained cult status worldwide and is still in distribution, recently becoming the first European movie to be restored and re-released on Kickstarter. The film spawned tribute clubs and a graphic novel.
